In regards to the warning labels, please note that the Manufacturers place the warning labels on pertinent wood and metal furniture because they are made with the mentioned chemicals listed, which under California LA Prop65, is one of the chemicals listed to be included, in the case of this desk.

At the same time the furniture meets CA CARB regulations for low emissions under the California Air Resource Board Phase 2 criteria. That is the reason we place the labels, the chemical is part of the wood manufacturing, but it is made to meet California laws , and safe for consumers. The levels of chemicals are extremely low and pose no significant harm to the consumer.
